Ian Scenna owner/guide has 20 years of experience fly fishing the Salmon runs in New England. He specializes in the Clyde River because it has the best Salmon run in the region.
There are many different species available in the Clyde River throughout the fishing season. We may encounter Lake Trout, Browns, Rainbows, Brook Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Pike.
The spring Steelhead run might be something that piques your interest. They can be challenging, but the reward is amazing!
While fishing the Clyde, I've gained a deep love and respect for the river and its inhabitants. To me these fish are nature at its most beautiful and should be allowed to live the life nature intended. The need to conserve and grow these populations cannot be overstated.
Here is an article written by Matthew Dickerson, an avid fly fisherman, published by the Addison County Independent newspaper titled:
"Ian and the Clyde River"

Fly fishing involves a lot of equipment and flies are how we actually connect with the fish. Since there are an infinite number of fly patterns, the right one on the right day could make all the difference. Over the years certain patterns have proven to be more effective. A lot of time and thought has been put into the flies we will use.
